In his university years, Matthew dipped his toes into the pro wrestling world, attending schools in Edinburgh and London. He left determined to write a story about the weird and wonderful characters he met, and their dedication to an artform that the average person may never encounter.

Committing to his own double-life, Matthew went part-time in his analytics consulting job to write Dojo Ryan. After pursuing traditional publishing, Matthew is self-publishing Dojo Ryan through Amazon KDP.
